had something similar to this at a friend's christmas party and it inspired me to try a recipe of my own!

Ingredients
- 3 cups sugar
- 3 sticks butter
- 5 - eggs
- 3 cups cake flour
- 4 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
How To Make chocolate pound cake

Step 1Preheat oven to 350.

Step 2Mix sugar with butter; add eggs one at a time, beating after each. Add vanilla.

Step 3Mix together dry ingredients.

Step 4Add dry ingredients alternately with milk to butter mixture, beginning with flour and ending with flour.

Step 5Bake in a greased and floured tube pan for about 1 hour.
