Attention chocolate lovers. This one is a winner. It is very moist and just delicious. I have gotten so many compliments on this lovely dessert. Your guest will not be able to resist this wonderful cake. Easy breezy to prepare.

Ingredients
- 1 box chocolate cake mix
- 2 small packages chocolate cook and serve pudding
- 4 cups milk
- 1 small whipped topping like cool whip
- - toasted slivered almonds
How To Make chocolate poke cake

Step 1Prepare cake mix as directed and put into greased and floured 9 X 13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Test for doneness with a toothpick. Allow to cool for about 5 minutes and then poke holes all over th cake with a wooden spoon handle.

Step 2Prepare the pudding and while the cake and the pudding is hot; pour pudding over top of cake. Allow to cool a bit; then put into fridge and when competely cool, top with the whipped topping and sprinkle top with slivered almonds.
