Ingredients

  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 - egg yolks
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 1/3 cups coconut
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

How To Make chocolate pecan frosting

  • Step 1
    Combine milk, sugar, egg yolks, butter or margarine and vanilla.
  • Step 2
    Cook and stir over medium heat until thickened, about 12 minutes.
  • Step 3
    Add coconut and pecans. Beat until thick enough to spread.
