Ingredients

  • 2 2/3 cups flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 2 - eggs
  • 2 cups cold coffee
  • 1 1/2 cups oil
  • FROSTING
  • 1 pound powdered sugar
  • 1/3 cup peanutbutter
  • 1/4 cup margarine or butter
  • - milk as needed

How To Make chocolate peanutbutter cake

  • Step 1
    Place all dry ingredients of the cake into mixing bowl. Add liquids and mix well. Prepare 9 X 13 pan and pour batter into the pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.(If at high altitude add 1/4 cup flour to this batter).
  • Step 2
    After cake cools mix peanutbutter, margarine or butter together and then add powdered sugar. Add milk very slowly until good spreading consistency is reached. Frost the cooled cake.
