I love chocolate and the flavor of orange, so I added some orange zest to this basic bundt cake mix and it gives the cake a nice subtle, but richer taste.

Ingredients
- 2 sticks butter, softened
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 tablespoon orange zest, or orange peel
- 3 large eggs
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 3/4 cup whole wheat flour
- 1-1/4 teaspoon baking soda, divided
- 1 cup light sour cream
- 1 cup chocolate flavored syrup, like hershey's
- 1 teaspoon powdered sugar
How To Make chocolate-orange bundt cake

Step 1Heat oven to 350. Lightly spray a bundt pan w/ cooking spray. In lg bowl, w/ mixer on medium speed, cream butter, sugar and orange zest until fluffy.

Step 2Add eggs and beat well. In another lg bowl, combine flours, and 1 tsp baking soda. Add flour mix, alternateky w/ sour cream to butter mix. Beat until well mixed.

Step 3In another bowl, combine chocolate syrup and 1/4 tsp baking soda. Add 2 cups batter to chocolate mix, mix well. Pour remaining batter into pan. Pour chocolate batter over yellow batter, don't mix. Bake about 65 mins, or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Sprinkle cooled cake w/ powdered sugar.
