Ingredients

  • 1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 2-3 tablespoons instant coffee powder
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 3 cups all purpose flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup butter, room temperature
  • 3/4 cup buttermilk
  • 4 - eggs
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • - glaze:
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 ounces unsweetened chocolate, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1-2 tablespoon warm coffee or water

How To Make chocolate mocha bundt cake

  • Step 1
    In a saucepan on low heat combine chocolate chips, water and instant coffee. Heat until chocolate melted and smooth. Remove from heat.
  • Step 2
    In a large bowl combine all cake ingredients and cooled chocolate mixture. Beat at low speed to combine then 3 minutes at medium speed. Scrap bowl inbetween.
  • Step 3
    Pour cake batter into greased and floured 12 cup BUNDT Pan. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 65-75 mintues or until cake taste done.
  • Step 4
    Cool cake upright in pan 30 minutes then turn onto a cake plate. Cool cake completely.
  • Step 5
    In a small bowl combine glaze ingredients until smooth. Drizzle over cooled cake.
