Ingredients

  • 1 c
    semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 2-3 Tbsp
    instant coffee powder
  • 1/4 c
    water
  • 3 c
    all purpose flour
  • 2 c
    sugar
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1 c
    butter, room temperature
  • 3/4 c
    buttermilk
  • 4
    eggs
  • 1 tsp
    pure vanilla extract
  • ·
    glaze:
  • 1 c
    powdered sugar
  • 2 oz
    unsweetened chocolate, melted
  • 1/2 tsp
    pure vanilla extract
  • 1-2 Tbsp
    warm coffee or water

How to Make CHOCOLATE MOCHA BUNDT CAKE

Step-by-Step

  1. In a saucepan on low heat combine chocolate chips, water and instant coffee. Heat until chocolate melted and smooth. Remove from heat.
  2. In a large bowl combine all cake ingredients and cooled chocolate mixture. Beat at low speed to combine then 3 minutes at medium speed. Scrap bowl inbetween.
  3. Pour cake batter into greased and floured 12 cup BUNDT Pan. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 65-75 mintues or until cake taste done.
  4. Cool cake upright in pan 30 minutes then turn onto a cake plate. Cool cake completely.
  5. In a small bowl combine glaze ingredients until smooth. Drizzle over cooled cake.
