chocolate mayonnaise cake
I've made this cake over and over, and I love it. Some mayonnaise cakes taste mayonnaisey if that's a word. This one tastes wonderful. It is so moist. You are just going to love it.

Makes 16 to 18 servings
Ingredients
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 4 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder (i use hersheys)
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 cup hot water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
How To Make chocolate mayonnaise cake

Step 1Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Sift the dry ingredients together in a large bowl.

Step 2Combine the mayonnaise and hot water in a medium bowl, add the vanilla.

Step 3Add the mayonnaise mixture to the dry ingredients; mix well.

Step 4Pour into a greased and floured 13X9 inch pan. Bake for 45 minutes to 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center of cake comes out clean. *Note: You can use a bundt pan and just spray with some Baker's Joy baking spray.*

Step 5Add frosting of your choice or serve with icecream and chocolate sauce. *Note: This cake tastes delicious all by itself.*
