Ingredients
- - cake ingredients
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- - brown sugar frosting ingredients
- 1/4 cup butter, room temperature
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 3/4 cups powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
How To Make chocolate mayonnaise cake

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Step 2In large bowl combine flour, sugar, cocoa and soda.

Step 3Add water, mayonnaise and vanilla; beat at medium speed til thoroughly combined.

Step 4Pour into greased 9in. square or an 11x7 baking pan. Bake for 30-35 minutes or til cake tests done. Cool completely.

Step 5For frosting: Melt butter in saucepan. Stir in brown sugar; cook & stir til bubbly. Remove and stir in milk. Gradually add powdered sugar; beat by hand til of spreading consistency.
