Ingredients

  • 2 sticks butter, softened
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 6 - eggs
  • 1 tablespoon calumet baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate syrup
  • 1 tablespoon chocolate extract
  • 1 cup chocolate milk - powder
  • 8 oz. cream cheese - softened

How To Make chocolate marble poundcake

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350
  • Step 2
    Beat butter in large mixing bowl until softened on medium speed
  • Step 3
    Gradually add sugar until light and fluffy
  • Step 4
    Soften cream cheese in microwave for 15 -20 seconds
  • Step 5
    Add cream cheese and vanilla
  • Step 6
    Add eggs one at a time beating well after each
  • Step 7
    Combine flour,salt and baking powder
  • Step 8
    Add to butter mixture beat until well blended
  • Step 9
    Pour about 1/3 of batter into small bowl
  • Step 10
    Add chocolate extract & syrup into this mixture blend together
  • Step 11
    Pour batter into greased and floured 12 cup bundt pan alternating the mixtures OR pour regular batter in bundt pan first, dust with layer of powdered chocolate drink mix THEN add chocolate batter mixture
  • Step 12
    Bake about 52 - 55 mins or until toothpick inserted comes out clean Cool about 10 mins. Invert onto serving dish(plate) Dust top with powdered sugar. ENJOY
