Ingredients
- 3 1/2 tablespoons cocoa
- 1/2 cup crisco
- 1 stick oleo
- 1 cup water
- BRING THIS TO A BOIL---POUR OVER THE FOLLOWING
- 2 cups flour
- 2 cups sugar
- BEAT TOGETHER WELL--THEN ADD
- 2 - eggs unbeaten
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- STIR WELL
How To Make chocolate loaf cake

Step 1Pour in a floured and greased loaf pan . Cook about 30 minutes @ 350 degree oven.

Step 2Leave in pan and frost with: Bring to a boil 6 T milk 3 1/2 T. cocoa 1 stick of oleo

Step 3Then add: 1 box of powdered sugar Beat until smooth. Pour over the loaf. Can be served with ice cream and coffee.

Step 4Bake at 350 degrees in the oven for 30 minutes.
