- 3 tablespoons plus 1 tsp sugar
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons melted butter (slightly cooled)
- 1 tablespoon hazelnut spread
- TOPPING
- 1 tablespoon hazelnut spread
How To Make chocolate hazelnut mug cake

Step 1Mix the sugar, cocoa, and baking powder inside a 12 oz mug.

Step 2Add the wet ingredients and mix with a small whisk until just combined.

Step 3Add 1 Tbsp of hazelnut spread on top.

Step 4Place in the microwave. Cook for about 90 seconds. Time may vary depending on the strength of your microwave. (Carefully remove the mug, it’s hot!)

Step 5The cake will puff up while cooking. When removed from the microwave, it will settle down to about an inch from the rim.
