    all-purpose flour
  • 3 Tbsp
    plus 1 tsp sugar
  • 2 Tbsp
    unsweetened cocoa
  • 1/4 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/4 c
  • 2 Tbsp
    melted butter (slightly cooled)
  • 1 Tbsp
    hazelnut spread
  • 1 Tbsp
    hazelnut spread

How To Make chocolate hazelnut mug cake

  • Sugar, cocoa, and baking powder in a mug.
    Mix the sugar, cocoa, and baking powder inside a 12 oz mug.
  • Wet ingredients added to the mug.
    Add the wet ingredients and mix with a small whisk until just combined.
  • Adding hazelnut spread on top of batter.
    Add 1 Tbsp of hazelnut spread on top.
  • Chocolate Hazelnut Mug Cake in the microwave.
    Place in the microwave. Cook for about 90 seconds. Time may vary depending on the strength of your microwave. (Carefully remove the mug, it’s hot!)

    The cake will puff up while cooking. When removed from the microwave, it will settle down to about an inch from the rim.
