chocolate fudge cherry cake
This cake is so easy, and delicious..it's rich and very moist. The frosting is of a fudgey consistency. This cake is one of my daughters favorites.. If getting company at the last minute..this cake would be a great one to make. Enjoy! My photo's

Ingredients
- 1 box devil's food cake mix (your favorite) - i used duncan heinz
- 1 - 22 oz cans cherry pie filling
- 2 - eggs
- 1 teaspoon almond flavoring ( optional ) - i used vanilla
- FROSTING
- 5 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup milk
- 6 ounces semi sweet chocolate chips
How To Make chocolate fudge cherry cake

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degree F. Grease and flour a 13x9x2-inch pan.

Step 2Mix cake mix, cherry pie filling, eggs, and flavoring by hand. Batter will be thick.

Step 3Spread batter into the prepared cake pan.

Step 4Bake at 350°for about 30 minutes, or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.

Step 5For the frosting: Place sugar, butter, and milk in a saucepan. Bring to a boil stirring constantly. Boil for one minute. Remove from the heat and stir in chocolate chips until smooth.

Step 6Pour over warm cake.
