How to Make Chocolate Fondue

Step-by-Step

  1. If not in chip form, chop bittersweet chocolate into small pieces.
  2. Combine sugar, heavy cream, chocolate and butter in a microwave safe dish. Microwave on high for 1-2 minutes (pull out when melted).
  3. Add red wine (I used Cabernet Sauvignon) to the chocolate mixture and stir to blend.
  4. Serve with bite-size pieces of pound cake, bananas and strawberries for dipping.
