Ingredients

1ST LAYER

1 c
sugar
1 stick
butter, softened
4
eggs
1 c
flour
1 tsp
vanilla
1/2 tsp
salt
1 can(s)
hershey's syrup

2ND LAYER

1 stick
butter, softened
2 c
powdered sugar
3 Tbsp
green creme de menthe'

3RD LAYER

6 oz
chocolate chips
6 Tbsp
butter, softened

How to Make Chocolate Creme De Menthe' Squares

Step-by-Step

  • 11st layer: Cream the sugar and butter together, add and beat in the eggs, flour, vanilla, salt and Hershey syrup.
    Pour into an ungreased 9X13 pan.

    Bake at 350 for a half and hour. Cool
  • 22nd layer: Cream the butter and Creme de menthe' together, slowly add the powdered sugar and beat until very creamy. Spread over cooled 1st layer. Refrigerate to set.
  • 33rd layer: In microwave, stirring ever 30 seconds, or in a saucepan, melt together chocolate chips and butter together, cool until lukewarm. Then spread over 2nd layer. Refrigerate to set.
