Ingredients
- 1 - devils food cake mix
- 1 can (21 oz.) cherry pie filling
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 2 - eggs, beaten
- 1 cup sugar
- 5 tablespoons butter or margarine
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1 - 6 oz. pkg. of semi-sweet chocolate chips

Step 1Mix by hand 1st 4 ingredients.

Step 2Bake in oblong (9 x 13) pan at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes.

Step 3Melt next 3 ingredients in saucepan. Bring to boil and boil for one minute, stirring constantly.

Step 4Remove from heat and stir in chocolate chips. Spread on cake before it cools.
