Ingredients

  • 3 cups flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 6 - eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 8 ounces sour cream
  • 1 cup chocolate chips, mini

How To Make chocolate chip sour cream pound cake

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350.
  • Step 2
    Stir together flour and baking soda.
  • Step 3
    In mixer bowl, beat sugar and butter until fluffy; beat in eggs, one at a time, until smooth, then add vanilla.
  • Step 4
    Beat in sour cream alternately with flour mixture; fold in chocolate chips.
  • Step 5
    Pour into well-greased and floured 10-inch fluted tube cake pan; bake 1 hour and 15 minutes or until wooden pick comes out clean.
  • Step 6
    Cool; remove from pan; sprinkle with confectioners\' sugar if desired.
