Chocolate Chip Sour Cream Coffee Cake
The chocolate chip swirl and sour cream make it extra special.
1 pkgyellow cake mix or 1pkge. butter recipe cake mix
1 boxinstant pudding, vanilla, (3oz.)
1 csour cream (8 oz.)
1/2 cmini chocolate chips
1/2 cchopped walnuts
1/4 cbrown sugar, light
1/2 -1 tspcinnamon
How to Make Chocolate Chip Sour Cream Coffee Cake
- Combine the chocolate chips, walnuts, and cinnamon and brown sugar; set aside.
- Combine the cake mix, pudding mix, eggs, oil and sour cream and beat for 2-4 minutes at medium speed.
- Pour 1/2 of batter into a greased and floured tube pan. Top with 1/2 topping mixture.
Pour remainder of batter over the topping and sprinkle rest of topping over the batter.
Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
- Cool in pan on wire rack for 20 minutes, then remove from pan.
Cool completely on wire rack.
