I'm not sure of the source of this recipe, but I wrote it on the inside cover of one of my cookbooks in 1980. The title was Better Than Sex Cake. Yes, I know that recipes for better than sex cakes are many and varied, but this one is so good. My adult children still request it, but now with grandchildren who also request it, we refer to it as the chocolate chip cake!
1beat eggs in large mixer bowl. Add cake mix, pudding mix, water, and oil. Blend 2 minutes at medium speed.
2Add sour cream, and mix well. Stir in chocolate chips and grated german chocolate.
3Pour into greased and floured bundt pan. Bake at 350 degree preheated oven for 55 minutes
Melt 1 square of unsweetened chocoate with 1/2 stick of butter. Remove from heat. Gradually add small amounts of confectionery sugar, and then add milk, a little at a time Continue this until all sugar is used, and the frosting is the right consistency.
