This cake is a favorite in our house and in most of my extended family's homes as well. It fills the house with the delicious smells of cinnamon and chocolate. My kids even ask for it for their birthdays! Don't tell anyone, but this cake can also double as a coffee cake for a brunch or breakfast. This recipe was my grandmothers, who gave it to my mom, who gave it to my sister-in-law and me (and the rest of the family!!!) I hope that you enjoy it as much as we have.
