Ingredients

1/2 cup butter
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 1/2 cups flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 cup sweet milk
3 - egg whites, beaten stiff
2 - chocolate, unsweetened squares

How To Make chocolate chip cake

Step 1

Cream butter and 1 cup sugar.

Step 2

Add vanilla.
Step 3

Sift flour once before measuring then sift again with baking powder.
Step 4

Add to creamed mixture alternately with milk.
Step 5

Add remaining 1/2 cup sugar to beaten egg whites and fold into greased loaf pan and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
