I had 3 pretty ripe bananas on my kitchen counter, and immediately though - banana bread. Okay, I love love love banana bread. But, I thought to myself.. who needs yet another banana bread recipe? I saw the chocolate chips, threw in the remaining cream cheese I had in my fridge - and voilà! We had one very yummy, very moist, bundt cake.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup dark brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 - medium ripe bananas, mashed
  • 2 - eggs
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 4 ounces cream cheese
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

How To Make chocolate chip banana bundt cake

  • Step 1
    Combine flour, baking soda, powder, cinnamon, and salt in a medium sized bowl. Set aside.
  • Step 2
    In a separate large mixing bowl - beat cream cheese, sugars, eggs, mashed bananas, vanilla, and oil.
  • Step 3
    Add your dry ingredients to your wet mixture. Stir until just moistened.
  • Step 4
    Stir in your chocolate chips.
  • Step 5
    Pour batter into a lightly greased and floured bundt pan.
  • Step 6
    Bake at 350 for 45 to 50 minutes.
