I had 3 pretty ripe bananas on my kitchen counter, and immediately though - banana bread. Okay, I love love love banana bread. But, I thought to myself.. who needs yet another banana bread recipe? I saw the chocolate chips, threw in the remaining cream cheese I had in my fridge - and voilà! We had one very yummy, very moist, bundt cake.

  • 2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1/2 c
  • 1/2 c
    dark brown sugar
  • 2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 tsp
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 3
    medium ripe bananas, mashed
  • 2
  • 1/3 c
    vegetable oil
  • 1/2 c
    whole milk
  • 4 oz
    cream cheese
  • 2 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 c
    semi-sweet chocolate chips

How to Make Chocolate Chip Banana Bundt Cake


  1. Combine flour, baking soda, powder, cinnamon, and salt in a medium sized bowl. Set aside.
  2. In a separate large mixing bowl - beat cream cheese, sugars, eggs, mashed bananas, vanilla, and oil.
  3. Add your dry ingredients to your wet mixture. Stir until just moistened.
  4. Stir in your chocolate chips.
  5. Pour batter into a lightly greased and floured bundt pan.
  6. Bake at 350 for 45 to 50 minutes.
