I made this for Christmas 2010 for the first time and there was none to take home..

Ingredients

1 box chocolate fudge cake mix
1 can cherry pie filling
2 - eggs
8 ounces cream cheese
8 ounces whipped topping
1 box powdered sugar
1 teaspoon pure almond extract
GARNISH
- maraschino cherries
- mini chocolate chips

How To Make chocolate cherry yum yum cake

Step 1

Pre heat oven to 350. Mix cake mix, cherries, and the 2 eggs. Pour into a 9x13 greased and lightly floured cake pan. cook 20-25 mins..

Step 2

While that is cooking mix cream cheese (softened) whipped topping,& almond extract slowly add in powdered sugar Mix 'til completely blended.
Step 3

Let cake cool completely spread on frosting. Garnish with marschino cherries (I put them in 6 rows of 4) and sprinkle on Mini choco chips.. Refrigerate.
