*this cake is great for high altitude, I live at almost 9000 feet in the Rocky Mountains, and this cake ALWAYS turns out great!
How to Make Chocolate Cake
- 1Cut together Sugar and crisco
- 2Add, eggs, vanilla, cocoa and salt - mix well.
Add soured milk and baking soda - mix well.
Add flour and boiled water (still hot) - mix well.
- 3Pour in to lightly greased and floured pan(s). I like to use 2 round cake pans
Bake at 350° for about 30 min or until a toothpick comes out clean.
