Ingredients
- 2/3 cup shortening
- 1 1/4 cups sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3 - 1 oz squares, unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled
- 3 - eggs
- 1 1/2 cups all purspose flour
- 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/4 cups sour milk

Step 1Cream together shortening and sugar until light. Blend in vanilla and chocolate. Add eggs, one at a time; beat well after each

Step 2Sift together flour, soda, and salt. Add to creamed mixture alternately with sour milk; beat after each.

Step 3Bake in a greased and floured 13x9x2 inch baking dish at 350 F for 35 to 40 minutes
