- 2 cups sugar
- 3/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 - egg
- 2 cups buttermilk
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 4 tablespoons heaping cocoa powder
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
How To Make chocolate buttermilk cake

Step 1Preheat oven 350. Grease and flour 9x13 baking pan.

Step 2Cream sugar and butter; add egg, beat. Add cocoa and baking soda, beat. Add buttermilk, beat. Slowly add flour, beat. Pour batter into cake pan. Bake for 30-35 minutes, test with toothpick for doneness. Cool completely. Frost as desired.
