Ingredients
- 1 package (18.5oz)devils food cake mix without pudding
- 1 package (8oz) cream cheese..room temp
- 2/3 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups whipping cream...whipped (1 pint)
- 2 tablespoons grated semi-sweet chocolate
How To Make chocolate bavarian torte

Step 1Mix and bake cake mix according to directions on package,using 2-9" cake pans. Cool 15 minutes,remove from pans to cooling racks.

Step 2In a mixing bowl,beat cream cheese,sugar,vanilla and salt until fluffy.Fold in whipped cream.

Step 3Split each cake into 2 horizontal layers. Place 1 on a serving plate(brush crumbs off sides lightly)Spread with 1/4 of cream mixture.Sprinkle with 1/4 of grated chocolate. Repeat layers ending with cream mixture. Sprinkle with grated chocolate.(Anchor with toothpicks between layers)

Step 4Cover and refrigerate 8 hours or overnight.
