How to Make Chocolate Bavarian Torte
- Mix and bake cake mix according to directions on package,using 2-9" cake pans. Cool 15 minutes,remove from pans to cooling racks.
- In a mixing bowl,beat cream cheese,sugar,vanilla and salt until fluffy.Fold in whipped cream.
- Split each cake into 2 horizontal layers.
Place 1 on a serving plate(brush crumbs off sides lightly)Spread with 1/4 of cream mixture.Sprinkle with 1/4 of grated chocolate. Repeat layers ending with cream mixture. Sprinkle with grated chocolate.(Anchor with toothpicks between layers)
- Cover and refrigerate 8 hours or overnight.
