- 1 box your favorite chocolate cake mix, home made or store bought
- 14 ounces can de leche caramel sauce
- - **coarse sea salt
- - *chopped walnuts or pecans
How To Make chocolate and salted caramel cake

Step 1Mix and bake cake according to box or recipe directions using a bundt pan, springform pan or two 8" round cake pans.

Step 2Once cake is cooled, warm caramel sauce to drizzle thickness, drizzle over cake.

Step 3Then sprinkle with chopped walnuts and coarse sea salt.

Step 4If using two cake pans you will have enough caramel to frost the bottom layer and the side of the both layers, plenty of caramel sauce to go around!
