This recipe is from VeryBestBaking (Nestle website). I have made this cake several times, in different ways. My mother just LOVES this cake!

Ingredients

  • 1 - dark chocolate fudge cake mix
  • 1 - box chocolate fudge instant pudding mix
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 4 - large eggs
  • 1 - package dark chocolate chips (52% cacao or darker)
  • 1 cup coarse chopped nuts, if desired

How To Make chocoholic cake

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350. Grease and flour (or use Pam for Baking spray) fluted cake pan.
  • Step 2
    Combine cake mix, pudding mix, milk, eggs and sour cream until moistened. Beat on medium speed for 2 minutes.
  • Step 3
    Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Pour cake mix into prepared cake pan.
  • Step 4
    Bake at 350 for 55-65 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely.
  • Step 5
    Serve with whipped cream or topping, or ice cream. This cake does not need a glaze, as it is very rich.
