I have given this as a gift and they are loved. When making the jar gifts make one for yourself. My Grandaughters have tested this, all but Maddy (who won't eat nuts) loved them.

Ingredients

Add to Grocery List

  • 1 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 3/4 c
    semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 c
    flour
  • 1 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 3/4 c
    chopped pacans
  • 1/2 c
    toffee pieces or you can use butterscotch chips
  • 1/4 c
    butter, melted
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla

How to Make Chips and Toffe Blondies In A Jar

Step-by-Step

  1. Use a 1 quart jar, or container. Layer Brown sugar,chocolate chips,flour,baking powder,salt,pecans and toffee pieces. Cover jar.
  2. Store at room temperature for up to a month.
  3. Attach baking directions and give as a gift.
  4. Baking Directions: Grease an 8x8 baking pan. In a large bowl combine the 1/4 cup of melted butter, the 2 eggs and 1 tsp. vanilla. Stir in jar contents. Spread into prepared pan. Bake at 350 degreeF for 25 minetes or intill set and golden brown. Cool in pan on a wire rack. Cut into bars. Makes 16 blondes. Enjoy!
