Ingredients
- 2 sticks butter
- 1 box light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 4 - eggs
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
How To Make chess cake

Step 1In a sauce pan over low heat, melt the butter and brown sugar, then remove from heat and add the remaining ingredients, mixing well.

Step 2Preheat the oven to 325 degrees. Transfer cake batter to a prepared 13 x 9 x 2 pan and bake 45 minutes. There will be very moist crumbs when tested. Dust with powdered sugar while still warm.

Step 3This can also be rolled in walnut sized balls and rolled in powdered while still warm. Butter hands well to prevent sticking and take care to not burn yourself.
