cherry cheesecake
Got this recipe years ago, off of a package of cream cheese. I've gone on to use springform pans to make regular cheesecakes, but then we come back to this tried & true recipe! It just has the right combination of cream cheese and cherries. It's a Criswell family favorite!

Ingredients
- 2 packages cream cheese, room temperature
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 - eggs, beaten
- 1 - graham cracker pie crust
- 1 can cherry pie filling
How To Make cherry cheesecake

Step 1Mix together softened cream cheese, sugar and vanilla until well blended.

Step 2Add eggs, mixing well.

Step 3Pour into crust. Bake at 325 degrees for approx. 40 minutes or until done.

Step 4After cheesecake has cooled, top with cherry pie filling (or other topping of your choice).

Step 5Refrigerate for several hours or overnight, before serving.
