This Easy Danish style dessert comes from a Potluck. A member from our Church gave to me. Its pleasing to the Eye,with the red of the cherries and white of the icing & cream Cheese. Everyone will want a slice, with ice cream or whip cream, as she usually brings the whole treat, we're spoiled well!

Ingredients
- BATTER:
- 1 1/2 C - all purpose flour
- 2 packages (envelopes) fleischmann rapid rise yeast.
- 1/4 C - sugar
- 1/4 Tsp - salt
- 2/3 C - very warm milk (120-130) degrees
- 1/2 C - butter or margarine, melted
- CREAM CHEESE TOPPING:
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1 - egg yolk
- 1/4 C - sugar
- 1 Tbs - corn starch
- 1 Tbs - 100% pure burbon vanilla extract (spice island)
- CHERRY FILLING:
- 2 cans - cherry pie filling
- ICING: FOR FINISHING
- 3/4 C - pdr sugar
- 1 Tbs - butter
- 1/4 tsp - pure burbon flavor vanilla extract (spice island)
- 1 -1 1/2 tablespoon milk
How To Make "cherry cheese danish" n 1 dish

Step 1Mix Batter together. Pour into pa sprayed 8X8 Baking dish. Let set to rest 10 -12 min.

Step 2Beat all Cream Cheese Ingredients,Mix in edium bowl til smooth.

Step 3Top the Batter with the Cream Cheese Mixture, Spread gently over this batter.

Step 4Bake in Cold oven, @ 350 for 25-30 min. just to; cream cheese mixture is set. Remove From Oven; Spoon Cherry Pie filling over the cream cheese. Return to the oven for about 5-8 min.

Step 5Cool 10- 20 min. Mix Icing ingredients, Drizzle over the top of the entire dish. Serve, Enjoy warm, or Cold, with a fresh cup of Coffee.
