frozen bread dough, thawed
21 oz
cherry pie filling
1/2 c
8 oz
fat-free cream cheese, softened
1/3 c
1/4 c
skim milk
2 Tbsp
unbleached all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp
almond extract
1/2 c
unbleached all-purpose flour
1/4 c
brown sugar, firmly packed
3 Tbsp
butter, cold

How to Make Cherry Cheese Coffee Cake


  • 1On a lightly floured surface, roll dough to a 13 x 9" rectangle.
  • 2Place in prepared 13 x 9" pan.
  • 3Cover and let rise double in size, 1 hour.
  • 4In a mixing bowl, combine cherry pie filling and raisins.
  • 5Spread evenly over dough.
  • 6In a another mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, granulated sugar, milk, 2 tablespoons flour and almond extract.
  • 7Pour mixture over cherry mixture.
  • 8In a small mixing bowl, combine remaining flour and brown sugar.
  • 9Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  • 10Sprinkle mixture over cream cheese layer.
  • 11Bake in a 350 degree oven for 40 minutes.
