MY GRANNY HAS MADE THIS RECIPES FOR AS LONG AS I CAN REMEMBER. SHE ALWAYS HAD THIS AS ONE OF THE GREAT DESERTS ON THE TABLE FOR CHRISTMAS OR THANKSGIVING. I AM NOT EXACTLY SURE WHERE SHE GOT THIS RECIPE FROM OR IF SHE MADE IT ALL ON HER OWN, BUT I HAVE BROUGHT THIS FROM HER FAMILY TO MINE. MY KIDS AND HUSBAND LOVES THIS RECIPE, IT IS USUALLY A BIRTHDAY CAKE FOR MY HUSBAND HE IS NOT A CAKE EATER.

MAKES 2 PIES
Ingredients
- 16 ounces cream cheese
- 16 ounces whipped topping, thawed
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons sweetened cherry pie filling
- 2 cans 21 ounce can sweetened cherry pie filling
- 2 - graham cracker pie crust
- CHERRY CHEESE CAKE (MAKES 2 PIES)

Step 1IN A LARGE MIXING BOWL MIX SUGAR WITH 1 BLOCK OF CREAM CHEESE LEAVE THE CREAM CHEESE CHUNKY (YOU WILL NEED TO MIX INGREDIENTS 2 SEPERATE TIMES SO PIES WILL FILL) 1TSP. VANILLA 1 CONTAINER WHIPPED CREAM AND 2 TBSP CHERRY FILLING. SWEETEN TO TASTE.

Step 2PUT INGREDIENTS IN PIE CRUST THEN POUR CHERRIES OVER THE TOP 1 CAN PER PIE. CHILL OVER NIGHT.
