This is a very moist cake and would most likely be very good with other flavors of pie filling. I baked mine in a glass pan; however, it took about 45 minutes to bake.
1 pkgyellow cake mix
1 can(s)(21 oz) cherry pie filling
1/2 cpacked brown sugar
2 tspall-purpose flour
1 tspground cinnamon
2 tspbutter, softened
1/2 cchopped pecans
How to Make Cherry Cake
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the cake mix, pie filling, and eggs until blended. Pour into greased 13" x 9" x 2" baking pan. Combine the brown sugar, flour, cinnamon and butter; sprinkle over batter. Top with nuts.
- Bake at 350° for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center coes out clean. Cool on a wire rack.
