Recipe Source: Taste of Home's America's Family Recipes 2006. Submitted by Amy Kraemer, Hutchinson, MN. This is a very moist cake and would most likely be very good with other flavors of pie filling. I baked mine in a glass pan; however, it took about 45 minutes to bake.

Ingredients
- 1 package yellow cake mix
- 1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling
- 3 - eggs
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons butter, softened
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
How To Make cherry cake

Step 1In a large mixing bowl, beat the cake mix, pie filling, and eggs until blended. Pour into greased 13" x 9" x 2" baking pan. Combine the brown sugar, flour, cinnamon and butter; sprinkle over batter. Top with nuts.

Step 2Bake at 350° for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center coes out clean. Cool on a wire rack.
