No wonder I am a diabetic. No just kidding. I used to eat sweets all the time until I came down with diabetes, but I still love to share my recipes and my desserts with friends and family. This is another easy recipe that you can put together in no time. I hope you will enjoy it.

Ingredients

  • 1 box chocolate or devil food cake mix
  • 1 package cream cheese (8oz) softened
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 6 ounces chocolate chips

How To Make cheesecake filled cupcakes

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350. Line muffin pans with baking cups.
  • Step 2
    Make cake according to directions on box. Spoon batter into muffin cups, filling about 2/3 full.
  • Step 3
    In a mixing bowl cream cheese and sugar until fluffy. Beat in the egg and stir in the chocolate chips. Drop one teaspoon onto each cupcake. Bake as cake mix package directs. Sprinkle top with powdered sugar or your favorite icing.
