cheesecake factory snickers cheesecake
My favorite candy bar is a Snickers. I love caramel....had to share this with you. I might make it with Milky Ways since my son is allergic to peanuts.

Ingredients
- 1 package 9oz chocolate wafers not oreo cookies ( i found these at big lots)
- 4 tablespoons butter, melted
- 3 - 8-oz pkgs of cream cheese
- 1 cup sugar
- 4 - eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 1/2 pounds snack-size snicker candy bars, cut into sixths
- 1 - jar of fudge ice cream topping
- - if you choose to garnish with homemade whipping cream you will need to buy a larger size contanier

Step 1Preheat oven to 325 degrees

Step 2Grind cookies into fine crumbs in a food proceesor

Step 3Add butter and mix until blended

Step 4Press into bottom and about 1 inch up the sides of a 9 1/2 or 10-inch spring form pan

Step 5In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar with mixer on medium speed until smooth

Step 6Beat in eggs one at a time

Step 7Beat in vanilla and cream, beat 3 to 4 minutes

Step 8Fold in 1 1/2 cup of candy bars

Step 9Bake 1 hour and 15 to 25 minutes, or until cheesecake is almost set but center still jiggles slightly

Step 10let cool to room temperature...I open my oven to cool

Step 11Sprinkle remaining candy bars over top of cake

Step 12Refrigerate for 4 to 5 hrs before serving

Step 13Remove springform pan

Step 14Just before serving, drizzle fudge topping over cheesecake, and top with whipped cream
