Ingredients For cheesecake bars

  • CRUST
  • 2/3 c
    margarine, softened
  • 2/3 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 2 c
    flour
  • 1 c
    walnuts, chopped
  • FILLING
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 2 pkg
    cream cheese, room temperature (8 ounces each)
  • 2
    eggs
  • 4 Tbsp
    milk
  • 2 Tbsp
    lemon juice
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract

How To Make cheesecake bars

    Spray 9x13 pan with cooking spray. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

    Cream margarine and sugar.
  • 3
    Add flour and nuts. Mix. Reserve 1/2 cup for topping. Press remainder into bottom of pan. Bake 12-15 minutes.

    Blend sugar with cream cheese until smooth. Add eggs, milk,lemon juice, and vanilla. Beat well.

    Spread over baked crust. Sprinkle with reserved crumb mixture.

    Bake for 25 minutes. Cool and cut into 1 inch squares.
