Made this for my niece last year for her birthday, it was so good, of course she wanted to top it with strawberries

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c
    graham cracker crumbs
  • 3 Tbsp
    butter
  • 2 Tbsp
    sugar
  • FILLING

  • 19 oz
    cream cheese, room temperature
  • 2 tsp
    lemon zest, grated
  • 3
    large eggs
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1/4 tsp
    vanilla extract

How to Make Kat's CheeseCake

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 350. Stir graham cracker crumbs and sugar together add melted butter, press into spring form pan ( 8 or 9 inch) Bake 10 minutes remove from oven and let cool, reduce heat to 300.
  2. Beat cream cheese in a large bowl, gradually add sugar, beat till fluffy, add vanilla and lemon zest, mix, add eggs one at a time beating well after each one, pour onto crust and bake for 1 hour or until center is firm, ( i took mine out at 54 minutes)Cool to room temp then chill for 3 hours, add topping if you want
