  • 1 2/3 c
    graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 1/2 tsp
  • 2 Tbsp
  • 6 Tbsp
    butter, melted

  • 1 c
  • 3
    eggs, well beaten
  • 24 oz
    cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 tsp
    vanilla extract

  • 1 pt
    sour cream
  • 3 Tbsp
  • 1/2 tsp
    vanilla extract

How to Make Cheese Cake


  1. Combine crust ingredients and pat into bottom and sides of pan.
  2. Beat cream cheese thoroughly; add sugar gradually; add eggs in thirds; add vanilla; pour into prepared pan.
  3. Bake at 375 for 25 minutes; remove from oven and add topping.
  4. To prepare topping, whip sour cream; add sugar and vanilla, and pour over cake.
  5. Continue baking at 500 for 5 minutes.
  6. Important - chill at LEAST 24 hours.
