triple chocolate cake
(2 RATINGS)
I came up with this recipe at the Senior Center as a cake that would go a long way. We're always dbl, triple, or quadrupling our desserts so I can't fix this any simpler. It's very sinful and fabulous. I hope ya'll like it if you have a lot of folks to feed!

Ingredients

- 1 box cake mix, swiss chocolate
- 1 box cake mix, german chocolate
- 6 boxes cheesecake pudding mix
- 4 boxes white chocolate pudding mix
- 2 boxes chocolate pudding mix
- 1 package oreo cookies, crushed
- 1 can chocolate buttercream frosting
- 1 can milk chocolate frosting
- 1 can chocolate fudge frosting
How To Make triple chocolate cake
-
Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix cake mixes per the box directions then mix them all together (or mix them and add up the number of eggs, amount of water and oil needed for 4 mixes). Bake in 4 greased 13 x 9 pans (or 2 greased 12 x 18 pans) till toothpick inserted comes out clean.
-
Step 2In separate bowl, mix all puddings together with 12 cups of milk. Once mixed well and slightly thickened, add crushed oreos to the mix. Stir till blended then place in refrigerator till cake is cool.
-
Step 3Once the cake(s) are cooled, spread pudding mixture over top - be generous with it! Heat one frosting in the microwave for 30 to 40 seconds then divide and pour over each cake. Spread the frosting over the cake. Heat the second can of frosting and repeat, then heat and repeat with the third can of frosting. You can swirl the frosting together to doll up the cake if you like.
-
Step 4Place left overs in the refrigerator - if you have any! Enjoy!
