charlene's coffee cake
This was my mother's recipe, a great way to make an old fashion coffee cake a new fashion way. Great around the Holidays or just for that Coffee Day with friends.

Ingredients
- 1 - yellow cake mix
- 1 package instant vanilla pudding
- 3/4 cup mazola corn oil
- 3/4 cup water
- 4 - eggs
- 1 teaspoon butter flavoring
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- TOPPING:
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- FROSTING
- 1 cup (heaping) powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon butter flavoring
- 2 tablespoons milk

Step 1pre heat oven to 350. Using an electric mixer, beat cake mix, pudding, corn oil, & water. Add the 4 eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add butter & vanilla flavoring. Beat for 8 minutes! Mix togater topping ingredients in separate bowl. Grease Bunt cake pan. Sprinkle 1/3 of topping in bottom. Layer batter with topping making 3 layers. Bake at 350 for 45-50 minutes. Turn onto plate and let cool.

Step 2After Cake has cooled, mix frosting and drizzle over cake.
