Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup mazola oil
- 3 eggs
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 1/3 teaspoons soda
- 1 1/3 teaspoons powder
- 1 1/3 teaspoons cinnamon
- 2 cups grated carrots
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts
- 3/4 cup raisins
- ICING:
- 4 ounces cream cheese
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- powdered sugar (about 1/2 box)
How To Make carrot cake, ma

Step 1Combine sugar and oil with mixer. Add eggs, one at a time beating well. Sift dry ingredients and add to mixture, beating well. Fold in carrots, raisins and nuts. Put in greased layer cake pans Bake in 300 degree oven for one hour.

Step 2ICING: Combine cream cheese with melted butter and add sugar to good spreading consistency. Add vanilla and frost cake.
