How to Make Carrot Cake
- For the cake, preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Don't sift flour. Mix cake all cake ingredients in order. Pour into a greased and floured 9"x13" baking pan. Bake for about 50 minutes. - For the glaze, mix ingredients in pan, bring to boil, and cook for 5 minutes. Poke holes in cake with toothpick or fork and pour over cake while it's still hot.
- For the cream cheese frosting, cream the ingredients together and spread over completely cooled cake.
