Ingredients

2 c
flour, all purpose
2 tsp
baking soda
1 Tbsp
cinnamon, ground
1 tsp
pumpkin pie spice
1 tsp
salt
2 c
sugar
1 c
vegetable oil
1/2 c
applesauce
3
eggs
3 c
carrots, grated
1 c
walnuts, chopped

CREAM CHEESE FROSTING

8 oz
cream cheese, room temperature
12 oz
powdered sugar
1 tsp
imitation vanilla extract
2 Tbsp
butter, room temperature
2 Tbsp
milk, 2%

How to Make Spiced Carrot Cake

Step-by-Step

  • 1Prepare (flour & grease) a 9x13 pan. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • 2In a large bowl combine all dry ingredients. Mix well. In another bowl combine all the wet ingredients. Mix well with a mixer until creamy.
  • 3Combine the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients. Mix well with mixer. Fold in the Carrots and walnuts. Add to prepared pan and bake for 45 minutes.
  • 4While the cake is baking you can make the yummy frosting. Add all the frosting ingredients and mix with a mixer until fluffy. Frost cake after it cools.
