sifted flour
2 tsp
2 tsp
baking soda
1 tsp
3 c
grated carrot
1/2 c
chopped pecans

How to Make Carrot Cake


  • 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • 2Grease and flour bundt pan or 2-9in rounds
  • 3Combine sugar and oil; add eggs, beat well.
  • 4Add flour with other dry ingredients.
  • 5Slowly mix in carrots and pecans.
  • 6Bake for 35 minutes or til done. (For bundt: cool for about 30 minutes and then turn upside down on a serving plate & cool completely)
  • 7Frost with your favorite Cream Cheese frosting
  • 8*Sometimes my mom would add raisins to the mix before pouring into pan
