Ingredients

  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 cups oil
  • 4 - eggs
  • 2 cups grated carrots-packed
  • 20 ounces crushed pineapple-drained
  • 3/4 cup nuts
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 - cube of butter
  • 1 pound powered sugar
  • 1 cup additional nuts

How To Make carrot cake

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350.Mix together: flour, sugar,soda, salt, cinnamon, and oil.
  • Step 2
    Add eggs, carrots, pineapple and 3/4 cups nuts. Bake for 45 minutes.
  • Step 3
    While baking: mix cream cheese, butter and powdered sugar for frosting. Garnish with 1 cup of nuts.
