found in an old "family Circle" magazine cut out. Makes two 8 x 8 pans,make them and freeze one, Yummy. Ice with cream cheese frosting

Ingredients

1 stick butter
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 - eggs
2 cups grated carrots
1/2 cup walnuts

How To Make carrot brownies

Step 1

Melt butter and add sugar until well blended

Step 2

Mix dry ingredients together and sift onto wax paper
Step 3

beat eggs into butter mixture, blending well add flour mixture
Step 4

stir in carrots and walnuts
Step 5

preheated oven, 350 degrees.
Step 6

pour batter into two greased 8 x 8 baking pans
Step 7

bake 30 minutes. cool 10 minutes and remove from pans
Step 8

when cool ice with cream cheese frosting
