Ingredients
- 1 box light brown sugar
- 3 cups self-rising flour
- 2 sticks margarine, melted
- 4 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon vanilla flavoring
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 small can coconut (about 1-3/4 cups)
- 1 large package butterscotch chips
- 1 large package chocolate chips
How To Make carolina chew bread

Step 1Preheat oven to 400 degrees and grease a baking pan. You can use a 9 x 9, 8 x 8 or 13 x 9.

Step 2Sift flour and brown sugar. Add margarine, eggs, vanilla, chopped nuts and coconut. Pour into prepared pan.

Step 3Sprinkle chips all over the top of batter in pan. Bake for 25 minutes, or until lightly brown...DO NOT OVERBAKE. Cool and cut into bars. Will be ooey, gooey, chewy and delicious.
