  • 1 pkg
    cake mix, chocolate
  • 1 can(s)
    sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 c
    butter
  • 14 oz
    caramels
  • 1 c
    pecans, coarsely chopped

How to Make Carmel Fudge Cake

Step-by-Step

  1. Reheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Prepare cake mix as package directs; pour 2 cups
    batter into greased 13x9-inch baking pan and bake 15 minutes.
  3. In heavy saucepan, over low heat, melt caramels and margarine.
  4. Remove from heat; add condensed milk and mix well.
  5. Spread caramel over cake; spread remaining cake
    batter over caramel and top with nuts.
  6. Bake 30 minutes or until cake springs back when lightly touched.
  7. Cool.
